What's New...
5/26/19 - Getting all packed up and ready to head for Iowa City and the International Tuba Euphonium Conference (ITEC) . Fortunately for me just 75 miles away! Check out the BLOG all week and I will be updating between sessions!
5/22/19 - Our first Tuba Talk is up!!! Who better to start with than the man that is hosting the biggest tuba event around. The Olympics of tuba.... ITEC! (that's the International Tuba Euphonium Conference) It is being hosted by Professor John Manning at the University of Iowa who was gracious enough to be our first guest on Tuba Talk. There are two episodes so don't miss any of the interview.
2/1/19 . Our first piece is up on The Composers Project! Themes on Dante's Inferno for Tuba by Ben Chrisman for solo tuba and fixed media soundscape. Check it out!
1/30/19 . WE NEED CONTENT and since there is no sense in reinventing the wheel, we are turning to you, the original wheel inventors. We would love to put you online.
The Learning Project needs articles! Masters Thesis, Doctoral Thesis, published articles, other scholarly works; anything that is of interest about tuba and learning music. Countless authors have spent hundreds of hours researching and writing articles that remain hidden to the average tubaist. Our goal is simply to make the work of intelligent tuba players and teachers that have gone before us more readily available to the tuba world.
The Composer Project needs music! If you are a composer who is self publishing, let us share your music and get your name out there. If you are an amateur arranger, share your music and give others the opportunity to play your tunes. Just make sure that everything is copyright legal!
